Tanzania Information and Map
Located south of the Equator on the East Coast of the African Continent, bordering on Uganda and Kenya in the North, and the Indian Ocean as its East Coast, Tanzania is relatively new to the vanilla export world. Previously, most of the vanilla production from Tanzania flowed through Uganda. Amadeus has now secured a supply arrangement with a cooperative of farmers in the mountainous Kagera region in the north. We are pleased to introduce Tanzanian vanilla directly to the larger world market!
